Hello!!! Just wondering if anyone else has applied for August 2010 yet? :)

When I went to talk to someone at Central yesterday I was told that if you applied before May 15th you will know by Tuesday at the latest. She said that someone was sending emails out at that moment. She also said that orientation would be June 23rd. I wonder if they just tell us whatever they feel at the moment to get us to go away? Everyone seems to be told something just a bit different. I know they were closed at Central from 8:45 to noon today.

Thats what I'm thinking too. I always have an extremely hard time getting a hold of anyone in the health sciences department & I almost didn't apply this semester bc someone in the nursing department told me if you didn't take the HESI AT Broward College they wouldn't take your app. & thank goodness I didn't listen to her bc you can't even take it there

IDK Im just nervous about the whole thing bc if they're like this when you apply how is it going to be once you're in the program?

I hear you! BC is the only place I have applied so I will stick with them and get through it. I can do anything knowing there will be an end date. :)

i'm still waiting on my points to be posted too i see the $20 obligation for

nursing was posted but not my points yet:uhoh3:, so i have my cousin who is @ central today to speak for me for since i am at work. but she told me they were closed from 8:45-12 noon today so hopefully she is able to see them after her class. oh yeah i too applied after may 15

Right they charged me but there isnt a current app for me under the limited access window

I tried again & the lady said SHE THINKS they're going to wait until all the apps are in by the July 15th deadline then make a decision

So who knows whats going to happen

I called and spoke with a lady and she told me that if the posted the $20.00 obligation they have your app. She also explained to me that they are using the Hesi scores along with GPA to decided who they are letting in. So we are ALL going to have to wait. And the GPA is still only on your pre-reqs not overall so atleast that hasn't changed. And she said we should all know soon as August is not that far away which is true.
