Hello!!! Just wondering if anyone else has applied for August 2010 yet? :)

Anyone hear any updates?? I keep trying to call the admissions office and it just keeps ringing :-(

I haven't heard anything yet. =( There is an information session this friday at North Campus for those who are interested in the program. If I haven't heard anything by then I am going to go and ask what is going on. It will be 30 days this weekend since the May 15th date. Now the deadline is open-ended. How long are we to wait? I've already taken almost all of my CEU classes. I have only one left to take.

i turned in my app today, basically it will be rolling admission, people who applied before May 15 will be the first to know , i believe they are still processing applications from that deadline.

I just dont know what could be taken so long if they didn't have that many applications! The wait is killing me, I just want to know......

It is this Friday from 1:00pm - 2:00pm in building 41 room 225

I don't suppose you know if central would be having an info session?

I really, really want to attend the North campus for nursing, but am going to have to do Central-I live literally right across from it, and I'll have to put my son into daycare there; but daycare begins at 7 in the morning, whereas nursing clinicals begin at 630 in the morning, thus my parents will need to drop off my son for me, and I wouldn't want them driving all the way to North just for that. I'm a bit sad about not being able to take it at North-I've heard the best things about the program there, and it is in my opinion the most beautiful looking campus.

Ah, well. I'm simply anxious and worried about being ACCEPTED for August. I'm done with A&P II Aug 7 (and have a 4.0 in pre-req's)...and now that the deadline is open-ended, hoping I can get in. Just worried seats will fill up before I get a chance to apply:( E-mailed the Associate Dean at both North (before I decided I was going to central) and just e-mailed the Associate Dean at Central today; we'll see what they say!! Crossed fingers!!

Good luck to everyone, and as frustrating as this whole debacle has been, just remember it is ALL worth it in the end:)

hey guys... i just left central campus admissions. i asked the girl when we would be finding out about our acceptances... and she said that they started accepting people TODAY!! so she told me to check my email and limited access link. im so nervous.... i will be checking as soon as i get to a computer.. im driving rite now ugh! good luck everyone!!!! : )

well at least they are starting to make progress if some people have been accepted already!

I spoke with the girl at Central today. She said that emails would probably not go out until next week. There is a problem with the system and the person who fixes it is in a conference all week. She also said there was a problem with the BC system since they changed the requirements. They system won't allow them to accept the people who did not pass the HESI, even though they will be accepted. The system has to be changed to allow those people to be accepted. She said that everyone who applied by the original deadline is going to be accepted as long as all requirements were met...passing the hesi, no longer being a factor obviously. She pulled out the sheet of accepted applicants and almost every name was highlighted as being accepted. She told me that our status in our BC account would be changed before we would receive an email and the new status will show "pre-admission" status. I guess we will wait and see.

That's my update for the day...lol!

Ohh, that really sounds like I'll be SOL then:/ If they're accepting people they may not usually accept...and there were a lot of names highlighted...then it sounds to me at least like the applicant pool will be filled before I can even apply. Which is kind of funny, given if they really DID accept people they maybe shouldn't have...and I can't get in when I have a 4.0.....well, sorry for my rant everyone, I was/am still just very hopeful. So frustrating!!!!!!!!:mad:
