Broward College applicants for Fall 2009

Did anyone already turn in there applications for Fall 2009 @ B.C.? because I am turning mine in next week before the deadline and now I have to wait AGAIN and keep continually looking at my e-mail and the myBC account for the Limited Access Program everyday hopefully I get in THIS TIME being my 3rd time :yeah:

Yeah Sharon had no idea I guess. lol I have no idea yet, Im having trouble with my loans so I dont know now :s

I know this is crazy, they should have told us when we turned in our applications to wait until the middle of June instead of the week after we turned it in.

When I turned my application in (May 8th) she told me that they would hopefully have my application processed by either the end of the day or the following week sometime, and that we'd hopefully have a response by the beginning of June. When I checked back again the last week of May (I actually went in to find out why they changed my major) she told me they were still processing apps and had a lot to do still, and that she was the only one at north doing them, so hopefully we'd hear something by the beginning of June.

My friend went in last week to Central and they told her they were very short handed and they are still processing applications.

Anyway, it does say on the application that admission decisions will be made within 30 days from the close of the application period. Maybe this time they are going to take all 30 days???

awww...poor lady processing the application @ North...I can imagine how stressful that is, it would suck if she quits :(

It hasn't been a month yet. Try to chillax (chill and relax). Focus on enjoying the time you have now. If you can, don't start stressing before you get into the program. Trust me, you'll have a tremendous amount to stress about once you get that acceptance e-mail. Take a deep breath. You'll probably know around June 15th.

OMG... HWne will they start sending the acceptance letter. It's so ridiculous that it's taking them this long. People know to start knowing whether they get in so they can start planning if they didn't get in.

Are you all checking your BC email? When I applied, we were notified via e-mail.

I set my BC email to forward all emails to my main email acct, and I haven't received anything. I know the forwarding works because my professor just emailed my exam score the other day (plus I've been receiving other emails from BC, and I check my BC email every once in a while "just in case" something didn't go through).

But no has heard anything yet. I'm going to try to stop in tomorrow on the way to my Micro class (if I get there early enough) and see whats going on. Monday is going to be a month, which they did say they have "up to 30 days" to let us know, and Friday they'll be closed.

I stopped by the Health Science Dept at North this morning on the way to my micro lab and asked when we should expect to hear something. She told me hopefully by the end of today, if not today, then Monday. My guess is we won't hear anything until Monday.

ya i was getting way too anxious and i called yesterday.. they said that def today they were going to start sending out the letters. but the first letters to be sent out are the rejection letters.. so the acceptance letters will be out in the next like 3 days.. good luck! :redbeathe :nurse:
