Broward College applicants for Fall 2009

Did anyone already turn in there applications for Fall 2009 @ B.C.? because I am turning mine in next week before the deadline and now I have to wait AGAIN and keep continually looking at my e-mail and the myBC account for the Limited Access Program everyday hopefully I get in THIS TIME being my 3rd time :yeah:

Hey everyone I just came back from central campus concerning my inelgible status. I spoke with Twana Burney who was in the office and she changed my status to Application in review right there. She told me it was a good thing that I came in or my application would have been looked over. Well, now my application is now in review and all my points are there.

Has anyone heard anything yet?

I still haven't heard from them and I got accepted to seminoleCC in orlando so I just accepted my seat there cause bcc is taking too long and I've read too many horror stories about their program on this site. If I get accepted ill let you know cause that will be one seat empty someone can take if you get put on an alternate list :)

That is good for you that you got into there program. I would like to know if you took the test they needed and what is the minimum score?

Well right now they require the TEAS test.. and I took the NET and they accepted my NET scores becuase I took it before January 2009 which is when the changed it. But i'm not sure what the minimum score is for the teas.

I just found out that a 73% is the minimum score you have to get on the TEAS

Has anyone heard ANYTHING yet? They are taking so long with these accepted e-mails. I HOPE I get in with all this waiting

Nope, I haven't heard a thing yet either. Not one person I know that applied has heard anything either. It didn't take this long the past two classes (Jan and May), so I wonder why its taking longer this time. Maybe there were more applicants? The end of this week will be three weeks since the deadline. I hope we hear something soon. I have class tomorrow, so I might stop by and see what they say.

I know that the people who deffered there seats did not hear anything either and they were told they will hear something by last friday. This is crazy:bugeyes:

I didn't realize they would hear anything at all.....I assumed that since they were deferring, they were automatically in. Or is this just to notify them of when the orientation is?

Right this is to notify them of there ortientation and tell them about there place in the program

I called today and got a hold of a lady named Sharon I guess she is the registrar? She said we won't know until two to three weeks. I can't believe it is taking this long?

Well, I guess Sharon doesn't realize its already been 2 weeks and on Friday it will be 3!! Sigh. I hate waiting, lol. I know I'm not the only one. My guess is that they had a ton of applications that they were still working on processing.

Is your mind still made up about going to SCC over BC?
