Did anyone already turn in there applications for Fall 2009 @ B.C.? because I am turning mine in next week before the deadline and now I have to wait AGAIN and keep continually looking at my e-mail and the myBC account for the Limited Access Program everyday hopefully I get in THIS TIME being my 3rd time
Hi!! I'm new to allnurses.com and I have been reading a lot of the postings for BC. I just applied for it too for the Fall of 2009 and I haven't received anything...
For those that have applied if you don't mind me asking how many points have you received?? i have 13 points.... and my advisor said I wouldn't have a problem getting accepted but I don't know if the competition is harder this time around.
That's awesome ...i have been working my butt off to get good grades and I transferred from Miami Dade to Broward because Dade's Nursing program is so hard to get into and they don't do the point system like Broward, instead they base it on overall GPA, in my case its no good because I did horrible during my first years in college.
I mailed my application to Central and I still haven't heard anything like i said before...I'm crossing my fingers!!!
kathzky...don't worry about the email...like i said i haven't received it yet either...but i'm sure we'll get it soon...as long as the status says accepted i think you're pretty much in the program!! so congrats!!!!!
what campus are you planning on attending??
i haven't decided yet...my mind was set on south (its closer than the rest) but i have read so many horrible things...i might just drive all the way to north campus even though i live in kendall...
I dunno I have been reading differents posts on the campuses and they say North is the best and then comes South and then the last and worst is Central...
I have the option to attend either one but I wanted to go to South (Pembroke Pines)...I'm really confused on which one to choose and you have to stay in that campus for the rest of the program...you can't take courses at different campuses.
is everyone sure that if the limited application status says accepted that your accepted.. or does that mean the application was accepted for review.. I really hope it does cause mine says accepted too but im skeptical just because i havent heard anything.. does anyone know for a fact that that means your in. I know that when it was first up it said N/A, and i went to speak with someone at central in the nursing admissions and they said that the applications were done being reviewed and the acceptance letters were going out starting today at 6 PM.. I think i should be excited but im just really nervous.. any feedback:rolleyes:
well my status at first said not eligible for the program and then i called central campus, where i mailed my application to and i spoke to one of the ladies there and she reviewed my information with me on the phone and she updated my application stauts because they hadn't evaluated my transcripts. finally later that day it said my application was being reviewed...that has been my status until about an hour ago (after checking a million times this morning) it changed to accepted.
my guess is that it means that we are accepted in the program, maybe the emails take longer to be sent.

Jam- I think she meant deferring your seat to the next term after being accepted into the program.
