I am new to this site, but I've seen other threads for other semesters for Broward College. I didn't find one for August 2015. I figured this would be a good place to share each other's excitement to (HOPEFULLY!) start the program in August. Let's all support each other on this journey! :)

Hi, I have been accepted for the nursing program for May but I had to defer to August because the morning of registration to pick your campus there was a block (A&P) preventing me from applying. By the time I drove up to North and had it removed North and Central was full and South was wide open but not an option for me. So here I am, waiting for the next registration, and I will be at the North campus in case anything goes wrong. My GPA is 3.7 and my hesi is good, can't remember exactly, I will look. June is not as far as you think so start reading the books now and get prepared.

Ohhh okay! I was wondering how is the program paid for? Through financial aid? Or you have to find another ways like scholarships etc..?

I have a generic question I'm starting McFatter Technical College June 8, 2015 for a 2 month Patient Care Assistant program and they require financial aid and I will graduate in the beginning of August will I still be able to attend Broward College and get financial aid for the fall term 2015?

How was the HESI? I'm taking it tomorrow. I'm hoping for August at BC. My GPA is 4.0, but I'm worried about the HESI. Definitely feel like I should have studied more. Oh well, guess I can always retake.

Just relax . The test is not that hard specially with your gpa you should be good to go. Please let us know how you did and good luck.

When I went in to turn my application in they said they really don't use the hesi scores, they just look to see if you made the cut mark which is a 75. They look at the gpa the most. Don't stress! Previous threads people got in with 2.9 gpas!! We should all be good. The killer is the waiting game to find out. We ha reach other on this thread for supportí ½í¸Š

Thanks Rene... I called the health science office this morning and they said that too. Here's hoping I make the 75... I spent so much time trying to keep my gpa up that I didn't really study for this. Hopefully it works out. I'm not looking forward to having to spend the $60 more than once. :)

I read on another thread for bc nursing that they assign our campus... anyone know about that? I really want to stay at central...

My friend just started on Monday, you get to pick your campus but you have to register the day they tell u or it will fill up
