Broward August 2015

Published

Hello Everyone,

I am new to this site, but I've seen other threads for other semesters for Broward College. I didn't find one for August 2015. I figured this would be a good place to share each other's excitement to (HOPEFULLY!) start the program in August. Let's all support each other on this journey! :)

Thanks I will!!

Hi Roxii, Or they could block you from registering if you transfer credits in and they approved and accepted them but somehow it was not cleared in the system.

Hi everyone, I've also applied for August 2015. If anyone has taken the HESI, do you mind explaining what to look forward too as far as the A&P section goes ? Is it as hard as people say it is ?

Haha heyyy!! At first I was like who's this?? Hehe...

Hey how was the hesi?? How'd you do?

Christina, it is really not that hard. At all. I know because I scored 100 on the AP section. I was surprised because I did not review until the day before the exam. Maybe it has something to do with my LPN background, but what I'm certain of is all the questions came from the Hesi book.

Get the Hesi book, if you find the book easy you will find the exam easy as well. If you think the material the book covers hard, the exam will look hard to you too. The Hesi book they sell at the school's bookstore is the only one you need. Trust me!

Hello, i'm new here. I've recently applied to North campus Good Luck everyone

Hi everyone. :) I took the HESI on Wednesday, but only able to update now. It wasn't as bad as I expected. I scored 90-something in every area but A&P. I got an 84 there. To me, it seemed like a lot more questions from A&P 1 and just a few from 2. I didn't buy the book, just checked out a few places online. I looked at Quizlet a few days before and I think that helped.

It really wasn't anything like I expected. It didn't even take that long. I feel like we get worked up too much. To any of you who still have to take it, just relax! The stress was the worst part for me.

I'm turning in my application tomorrow. Hoping for Central. Good luck to everyone. Hope to see some of you in my classes. :)

Can a financial aid situation be considered a block as well? Or no ?

I can't imagine your financial aid situation would stop you from being accepted to the program or registering. The worst that would happen is that you get accepted and register for class, but if you don't pay by the deadline after class starts, you'd be dropped.

Ohhh okay understandable.
