Broward August 2015

Published

Hello Everyone,

I am new to this site, but I've seen other threads for other semesters for Broward College. I didn't find one for August 2015. I figured this would be a good place to share each other's excitement to (HOPEFULLY!) start the program in August. Let's all support each other on this journey! :)

Just spoke with nicole from central campus, they are still accepting applications, I was advised they are taking more students in for the fall term, there are 86 seats for north campus, 110 seats for central, and a 100 seats for south campus, if you go to add/drop for fall 2015 typre in "NUR" nursing process 1 you can determine how many students they can admit for fall 2015, she told me they are hoping to send out admission letters by friday, I am keeping my fingers crossed

Is that the amount of seats left or in total that they are taking???

Thank you for the information. I'm so nervous!!!

In total that they are taking no one has been selected nor admitted for fall as of yet

What I don't understand is why they wouldn't at least confirm those that they have accepted. Ugh this is frustrating. Nevertheless thanks for keeping us informed.

Nevertheless thanks for keeping us informed. okay so I looked at the registration, I'm a little confused. I thought it was a full time program. Process one is twice a week for a few hours. Am I missing something?

@#winning

you got to school twice a week and you go to the hospital twice a week which is your clinical component

When I went to the information session at central the Dean went over the schedule and we were either on campus or lab/clinical 5x a week

By the looks of it looks like it's only four days a week which would be great for me and my work schedule. And also for those of us that pay out of pocket.

First semester is process 1 or 2 twice a week, clinical twice a week at first, then once a week, pharm one day and math. Plus lab practice hours

Thank you soo much for keeping us informed
