Broward August 2015

Hello Everyone,

I am new to this site, but I've seen other threads for other semesters for Broward College. I didn't find one for August 2015. I figured this would be a good place to share each other's excitement to (HOPEFULLY!) start the program in August. Let's all support each other on this journey! :)

I was told not to worry about them until we get accepted that they are quick and can be taken online, except for cpr. They said that one isn't long either. :)

This week we will all know for sure if we are all in or not, I am 99 % sure, I can feel it in the fiber of my being, everyone please dont **** your pants, just stay glued to your emails, I know

That's exactly what I'm saying. I'm going to call BC tomorrow and ask if they're needed or if they're classes we take when we get into the program.

surprisingly my advisor nor did health admissions rep ever mention to me about having these continuing education courses done whatsoever, i just checked all of the courses are not even available to take prior to fall unless you take them elsewhere either at Sheridan or perhaps ceufast.com (nurse continuing education)

They change things on a whim smh, just like the hcp no longer required, I wasnt made aware of that until after I had paid, and went to class on the first day, 4 years ago the hesi wasnt even a prereq, not to long chem1032 was a prereq, its crazy with bc, they have yet to update the info on their website for health sciences admission requirements

You got off better than I did. They told us on the LAST day of HCP that we didn't need it anymore. I cancelled a cruise that I'd already paid for, because they told us that we couldn't miss the last day of HCP (which was when the cruise left) and I didn't want to have to re-take it. Then they decided we don't need it...
