Hello everyone, I would like to know who's applying to Brookhaven this fall for their Spring 2012 class, if so how many with how many points? I will be taking my last support course this summer, which is my elective (PHIL 1304). I am so excited, upon completion of this course I will have 32.39 points. I can't tell how nervous I am, I hope this is enough. Any advice from previous or current nursing program is welcomed.
Hi guys, I'm back. I am so glad the interview is over, my stress levels have decreased. The interview wasn't anything like how I pictured it to be in my head. I was nervous and I had anxiety. It's like I partially blanked out. I know for a fact I didn't do as well as I could have. I hope I got at least 3 points. Some questions were easier to answer than others, and they do require some thought (if not critical thinking). All I know is I gave it a shot to the best of my knowledge and mental status at the time. To me, answering questions among your peers isn't nearly intimidating as answering questions in front your prospective future instructors who are all looking at you.
Sugarmag, which one were you? Did you arrive early? I remember chatting with several people.
Mia - I did get there early but not really early enough to talk to many of the 2:00 people. I was in the blue sweater and borrowed jacket that didn't really fit right (haha!)
Escape - how did you know that was me sitting next to you? I'm hoping they let us know on Friday too! I may break down and call AC tomorrow to ask her when they'll let us know, or what interview score I got.
I think you said something about the 34 points, so I was guessing (although proved wrong with my group) that there couldn't be that many people with 34 points.
I was suprised that there were 3 people in my group with 34 points. I am curious to see what the cut off was for first round points.
A girl in my group said 30.65 was the lowest that got an interview (I know someone who was right at 30 and didn't get one).
Thanks for the tip on the on free kindle books - I downloaded a ton tonight! Didn't know Louisa May Alcott was a volunteer Civil War nurse (I loved Little Women as a kid). I'm a dork!
