I can't seem to locate a thread regarding applicants for Brookhaven's fall 2015 nursing program... so I wanted to start one! If there is another, please redirect me- thanks!
I plan to apply in February for acceptance to Brookhaven's fall 2015 class. I am working on my dosage calculations course by 2/20 (cutting it close!) and that is all I have left! It looks like they changed the point scoring system since just a few months ago- did anyone see that? I am always looking for guidance and support in this process, so, I am hoping this thread can provide that for me and everyone else involved!

I don't understand why they would wait until the 17th and tell us by e-mail if we made it in and have until 12:00 to respond. Also, if we are not considered for a spot do they let us know in the e-mail as well???
I think we are all fairly confident that they will email us by midweek at the latest. They have to give you more than a few hours to respond with your acceptance or regrets. Otherwise anyone who has to work that day might miss their email! I'm still hoping we get an email today, but I am much less anxious about it this week :)
My gut says we find out Thursday.. not sure where that comes from but I feel like that's going to be the day! Obviously, if we find out earlier, then great! But at least I won't feel ridiculously anxious until Thursday.. I am also unsure why they take an entire week to let us know.. I am sure there is a lot of administrative stuff that goes on in the background that we are completely unaware of! Not to mention, they have a lot more to do in their jobs on a daily basis than just worry about the nursing applicants. I would imagine that we would get an email either way- accepted, alternate or rejected.. with further information regarding which decision. I am really looking forward to getting this part over with and I know ya'll are too! Speculation is so draining! LOL!

Id just like to know already so I can move on with the week already LOL. It is a bit anxious, but keeping busy eliminates it some...Has anyone ever talked to a nurse who graduated from Brookhaven? I have spoken to nurses who came from El centro but never Brookhaven. I typically as RN's when i take the boys or myself to the doc or hospital.
I was also wondering if anyone had stats on the number of typical graduates from the RN program each year? I think it is in the packet but I havnt looked today.
