Brookhaven Fall 2020

Published

Hey everyone! I decided to start this forum because I am a current transferring Nursing student moving from AR to TX. I am in need of all the tea on the program and faculty. Please feel free to leave comments! I’m just trying to get all of my ducks in a row now. I hope to meet someone of you all along this journey!

Mine was at 10:30 also on Tuesday but I haven’t heard anything yet

CONGRATS to you as well???

I would like to be made admin in the group as well! My name is LaShaun on there.

Is anybody else thinking about turning down their other offers from other schools they applied to?

CONGRATS to all the officially accepted Brookhaven Nursing students! I just wanted to drop a line here as I did before when tall were just submitting applications to give advice on the post application period and interview round. Now that you are in well again I am a graduated BHC nursing student. I graduated December 2019 right before the quarantine started after Winter break. I took my NCLEX in January and passed and am a Texas RN product of brookhavens amazing program. And now a BSN Student in UTAs RN bridge program.

If you have any questions or every need advice from someone who has been through it but not only through it but successfully the first attempt I might add LOL I have a wealth of tips and study guides to share from one graduate to an upcoming one. Especially starting in a time where the format of your classes may be alternative until its safe to have schools be in session pre COVID. And believe me when I say nursing school and this program was not developed to be online based so the curriculum your learning is best done hands on with your instructors and with access to skills labs and simulation lab, open practice In lab with classmates and manny and med supplies to learn by doing. So you will face a unique set of challenges and I urge you to reach out to the students who just completed their 2nd semester for tips because they were the guinea pigs for online nursing school that paved the way for your starting class this fall. But the core of the content is the same so if you need help with tests or clinical documents or study tips or wanna buy my books on the cheap. Hit me up ??? CONGRATS again to all of you!
