Hello everybody! I will FINALLY be applying for Brookhaven for the Spring 2020 entrance. I have watched previous forums to see what to expect and I'm excited but nervous. Are there any students here enrolled in the concurrent enrollment through Brookhaven and Texas Tech? I hope to hear more from you guys as we go through this process!
Quick question ya'll. (totally off topic). Was it rude to email another advisor because I felt like the previous one didn't fully answer my question? I went to Brookhaven and spoke with the female nursing advisor. I asked her this 1 question twice and still felt confused about the answer. She was really nice and helpful though on other subjects, basically reiterated what I already knew. Then a week later I decided to email the guy nursing advisor and his email seemed really rude. Basically saying you were here a week ago and I'm sure she covered everything for you!.... I hate feeling like I did something wrong. I mean was it wrong? I have to really get out of being so sensitive, I mean I'm going into nursing for good sakes. It just makes me not want to bother anybody else, or ask them anymore questions because they feel like they've answered them all in that one visit.
Thanks guys.
Hey you guys. To those who have taken Nursing Pathology, how is the class? Is it very hard?? how are the exams??? I see there's only online courses for that and Pharmacology and I'm not really good learning online (well I can't retain anything to take beyond that semester).... Is it a class that's do-able during a wintermester???

Patho was easier to me than pharm. Both are very intense when it comes to learning the material. I wouldn't take both in the same semester but that's just me. I would definitely go look up your professors on ratemyprofessors before you take anybody so you can have a good chance of passing.

That wasn't my question, my question is taking it as a wintermester vs. a regular semester. Are the exams multiple choice? proctored? what exactly?

I would take it in a regular semester vs a wintermester. Exams were multiple choice when i took both classes which was good. I hope that helped to answer your question! ??
