Hello everybody! I will FINALLY be applying for Brookhaven for the Spring 2020 entrance. I have watched previous forums to see what to expect and I'm excited but nervous. Are there any students here enrolled in the concurrent enrollment through Brookhaven and Texas Tech? I hope to hear more from you guys as we go through this process!

GPA: 3.21
HESI: 90
Support points: 7
Mines is in the 20 range too but their has been nursing student who get accepted at 24 points. Stay confident!?. You did great on your Hesi and you have above a 3.0 min GPA

This year round they offered points for texas tech classes and medical experience. I think you will get in. Your stats look high.
In the future you can bump your gpa by retaking clasess you got a low grade, support courses, and retaking the hesi to bump your points. But 90 on the Hesi is great. If I would have received As on all my supports classes I would've been applying with 31... or more with a higher Gpa but I have faith that I will get an interview

When I went to turn in my application on the 18th at around 8 am I was told they had around 30 applications so far...

Is not too late to take it. On the time line tou have until 9/20 to take at brookhaven but you can take it at other locations that offer it too. I took my Hesi at UTA they offer it on saturdays too and you dont have to be a student there. I wouldn't suggest taking it if you haven't studied. Hope this helps!
