Brookhaven ADN Spring 2020

Published

Hello everybody! I will FINALLY be applying for Brookhaven for the Spring 2020 entrance. I have watched previous forums to see what to expect and I'm excited but nervous. Are there any students here enrolled in the concurrent enrollment through Brookhaven and Texas Tech? I hope to hear more from you guys as we go through this process!

I turned my app in this morning! Little later than I wanted but happy my kink was worked out by the deadline ? I applied with 28.81 points! We will all know in less than 3 weeks??

It would be great if you could gauge how many applicants have applied, or note the starting date on the sign in sheet. My sign in sheet started on 9/18.

Im sorry I didn't check all nurses before I went in and so I didn't think to check how many people had gone in before.

They actually have mock interviews in the career center of the S building for everyone to get a better idea of what to expect! They don’t have them until after interview emails are sent though!

Wow I didn't know that! thanks for letting know, I feel that if I get an interview it will be the section I do the worst in. I get really nervous.

Barbara responded to my email and said they took about 100 applications

Dang. This is my second and possibly last attempt to get in. I really don't want to retake a 3-4 month class to try and squeeze out an extra point. Fingers crossed for a favorable outcome.

Plus when I was going to retake my PSYCH class to try to get an A instead of a B for an extra point Barbara recommended against it and said it "looks bad" when you already have a B. That's why I'm not really sure what other options I have for higher points if it doesn't workout this time.

Officially how many points do you have right now?

when should you take the HESi if you plan to apply for the fall 2020?

They only have it available to take in February.

Points confirmation by tomorrow and interview status is 1 week from today.

Last semester's got their points email a day early, so we might, too! Be sure to check your spam ?

I was confirmed 29.2 points

They denied my 8 years of phlebotomy experience. I did email back stating I have been in the medical field since 11/2008 as a medical assistant/NCT TECH. If there was another way to prove my medical experience?

Idk kinda confuse

If not 29.2 shall do
