Brookhaven ADN Spring 2020

Published

Hello everybody! I will FINALLY be applying for Brookhaven for the Spring 2020 entrance. I have watched previous forums to see what to expect and I'm excited but nervous. Are there any students here enrolled in the concurrent enrollment through Brookhaven and Texas Tech? I hope to hear more from you guys as we go through this process!

How is your applications going Shauntil07?

Im sorry to hear that. What school you are taking the AP1 class. I took mines at El Centro and i had a good professor. Are u retaking AP 1 because you failed it or you haven't done it yet? You will do great applying for Fall 2020 since you have done all the major requirements like the hesi. You just neeed to finish the prereq courses.

I'm trying to take the class at North Lake. I have needed to retake the class to get a B but Dallas County gave a whole bunch of red tape around this class that now its too late to try and apply for Spring 2020. So I either have to apply somewhere else or just wait on Brookhaven. Looking at other programs but I will apply to Brookhaven as well.

They will not round points. I applied for fall 2019 hoping they will round my points but unfortunately they are strict with not rounding.

how did you get disqualified?? did you take the exam to many times during an application period?

Does anyone know when the next hesi test is at el cento? And what prep classes y’all took to get you ready for the test?

Omg really i was hoping to see you his time around. I hope you're okay and stay positive. You will definitely have more points but just make sure your scores stay within the w yr frame. I think the hesi is only good for 2yrs and the dosage and calculation scores. Also your CPR is good for 2 yrs.

I got disqualified because the entry points for BHC is 20 and I thoght they were going to round off my points but 4 days later I received an email from Bar.... stating that my application was disqualified and they do not round points, and to apply next nursing entry. I didnt retake the hesi multiple times. I took it im February at UTA since they allow testing on Saturdays and my scores were:

100-AP

92-Math

76-Grammar

82-Vocabulary

64-Reading

If you get all A's on your 4 prerequisite classes. You'll earn a total of 4.0 GPA. Check out this GPA calculator!
