I have finally been accepted at BCC for fall 2007--start my clinicals, I have already been in school for 3 semesters,
I hear nothing but good things about the program as far a pass rates on the boards and getting jobs, however, I hear the program is super intense, any one else going to BCC or graduated, any advice

It is very intense. Keep your head in your books. I am getting ready to start my 3rd semester of the program.
Note: Nur 41/42 are so different then the other courses, you'll think you've entered a different program.
Good luck.

I am getting really nervous, I envy you only 1 semester to go, good luck to both of us

Study! Study! It was a great school in 1970! I have worked all over the USA and I am so glad I went to a New York City school. Very high standards. I love nursing-so many aspects! Exhausting and humbling.

The above comments are funny but extremely TRUE!
The program is doable but extremely intense.
Say goodbye to your social life. It will resurrect after graduation.
READ, READ, READ, APPLY what you READ in different scenarios.
Good Luck!
Beware drill sergeant Morris......! She's a sweetheart deep, deep, deep, deep down. She means well!!!!!

Thanks for the replies. I graduated today.
That program was awful. Of the 50 students admitted in my first semester, only about 6 of us actually graduated on time.
I would like to hear from anyone from my graduating class of Jan 1970.It was a small class. I remember firstnames, hve some addresses and maiden names only. My name is Lenore. Thanks, L

flyfish, did you try the alumni association?
To Girls1: Yes, I contacted the alumni assoc.as you suggested. It will probably take a long time to get a reply. Thanks, Fly.
Okay, cool. I wish you tons of luck locating them. Also consider other nursing forums and people finder sites. Come to think of it, people-finder sites may be your best bet.
Good luck with your search.
