THis doesn't make sense. I took the test Feb 14th, 75 questions and I haven't got my results. Another girl took it same day, time, and place and got hers today. I just called Sacramento and the lady said my test hasn't even been graded.....Does that mean it is sitting in a file on someones desk while they are taking a smoking break? I should of asked to be transferred to the person with my file. I guess it's not over yet.

I took mine on the 13th and still haven't heard back. I also had 75 questions. Its driving me crazy waiting.

Do you live in CA? It takes forever to get our results. You should call and sk if they have everything in your file fingerprints, transcripts etc. A girl in my class waited forever because they were having problems with her finger prints. I feel a little better knowing my test hasn't been graded but seriously how long does it take?

Exam scores are actually sent from Pearson-Vue, there is nothing for the state to grade. They do not see the exam, etc., they only get the results.

CA BRN manually places your score in your file, then they follow the rest of their procedure.

Sorry I'm still confused. What did the lady mean when she said they didn't have my results? I aked her to clarify if that meant my test was on someones desk and they hadn't graded it. She said yes. I thought after they get the results someone has to hand grade it cause the computer can make a mistake? WHY AM I SO CONFUSED?

The lady at the BRN may be the one that is confused.

No one at any board of nursing is grading any NCLEX exams. Period.

The only thing that the boards of nursing get are the results. That's it. With a few exceptions, the people working at the bon don't ever even get to see a real live NCLEX question. Can you imagine what it would do to the security of the exam if there were NCLEX exams being sent all over the country to be graded?

There are millions of NCLEX exams each year. There's no way to hand grade so many exams.

THANKS! I finally figured out the problem. There was a misunderstanding with my fingerprints and the computer didn't realize it had my prints. I called Sacremento again and the girl talked to her supervisor. They fixed the problem and my results are NOW being processed. She said if I hadn't called it could have taken longer before they figured out they really had my prints.

So I have been waiting since Tuesday to just start waiting all over again. But on the bright side at least I haven't failed (yet)

Glad you got it cleared up!
