I have heard you can be an extra on tv shows like strong medicine with a valid RN license. Does anyone know more info on that. A friend told me you can get paid $200 plus just to be a "real" nurse on a tv show. I don't know how to find out about it. I searched the web but no luck.

Thanks for answering all of my questions. I'm over it finally. I have heard all these rumors and I just wanted some answers. I don't know why this stupid test bugs me so bad. I've gone stir crazy all day and I know I'm going to feel like an idiot when I get my PASSING results. I should be out enjoying my time off before work starts. Thanks for your help.

I think it is ok. When I called HR to set up an interview she asked which departments and how many interviews I wanted in a day. So I had 3 in one day. I had one for NICU, and PICU and then NICU at there other facility. They just wasnt you to work there.

It's an interm permit. While waiting for results you can pay a little extra to get a permit. It lasts for 6 months. But if you fail it becomes invalid. Or so I've been told.

I know it does...but I heard that a way to get your results of NCLEX faster is to check to see if your IP is still valid. Rumor has it when you fail the BRN will show that it has expired. In CA it takes forever to get results. So I was just wondering if this was a MYTH??? Not that I think I failed. LOL:clown:

THANKS! I finally figured out the problem. There was a misunderstanding with my fingerprints and the computer didn't realize it had my prints. I called Sacremento again and the girl talked to her supervisor. They fixed the problem and my results are NOW being processed. She said if I hadn't called it could have taken longer before they figured out they really had my prints. So I have been waiting since Tuesday to just start waiting all over again. But on the bright side at least I haven't failed (yet)

Sorry I'm still confused. What did the lady mean when she said they didn't have my results? I aked her to clarify if that meant my test was on someones desk and they hadn't graded it. She said yes. I thought after they get the results someone has to hand grade it cause the computer can make a mistake? WHY AM I SO CONFUSED?

I am in the same boat. From the start I couldn't figure out if they were easy or hard. I hept praying for a hard question got one that seemed easy but then had no clue what the answer was. Then I got ones that seemed really easy but my friends say they weren't easy I just knew that content so it seemed easy. So confused and I called the State Boards and I guess my file is still sitting on someones desk. They haven't graded it and its been 3 days....

Do you live in CA? It takes forever to get our results. You should call and sk if they have everything in your file fingerprints, transcripts etc. A girl in my class waited forever because they were having problems with her finger prints. I feel a little better knowing my test hasn't been graded but seriously how long does it take?

THis doesn't make sense. I took the test Feb 14th, 75 questions and I haven't got my results. Another girl took it same day, time, and place and got hers today. I just called Sacramento and the lady said my test hasn't even been graded.....Does that mean it is sitting in a file on someones desk while they are taking a smoking break? I should of asked to be transferred to the person with my file. I guess it's not over yet.

If you live in CA I know they don't get results has fast but does the BRN website update throughout the day or just at night. It seems like if your results aren't up in the morning you have to wait until the next day.

This is torture taking the test in CA and having to wait so long. My friend took the test on the same day, same place, same time and she got her results today. I didn't (then she called to rub it in my face that she passed, but somehow forgot to check my results and wanted to know if I passed). This sucks. Now I'm afraid I failed because I didn't get my results, but it has only been 3 days it's not over until I get the letter in the mail.

Now I am really freaking out with my 75 questions. Another girl who took it the same day at the same time at the same facility got her results today. So I'm terrified I didn't pass. I wonder if calling would help, but they probably get a million calls. This is so annoying we already are put through hell why do they make us wait?
