Hello,
I wanted to know of anyone looking into the Bristol Community College nursing program or who is currently in it or was in it.
I am still taking the competitive pre-req courses right now to be able to apply to the Fall 2011 nursing program for Bristol Community College in Massachusetts. I currently have a 4.0 GPA.
After this semester, I just need to take A&P II (summer class) and Microbiology (Fall class). After that, all of the courses I need for the nursing program are complete except for the actual nursing classes.
If I get accepted into the BCC program for the Fall 2011 class, will I only be able to take 1 nursing class/semester so it's an additional two years from Fall 2011?
Thanks for your input!
I'm paying my deposit this Friday. I'll be going down to the school, and after I get my receipt, just for the heck of it, I'm going to the nursing department to see if they'll give me the info packet. I called maybe a week ago and they said the packets should be mailed the end of this month or beginning of next. I doubt they'll be ready this Friday, or that they would just hand one over to me, but I'm giving it a shot anyway.

You rock, Redpanda!
Keep us posted. Thank you for all of the info!!!
Hey so just out of curiosity... Do all of you girls already have your pre-req's done? I still have to take microbio, a&p 2 & I just found out I now need to take another history the west and the world. I guess I took the wrong one : (
I think I need another history class. I took 2 of them a while back but when I look at the Degree Works, it doesn't count? Weird. That and maybe a math class.
I have already taken 3 history classes at BCC and none counts towards program. But thank god for degreeworks because I thought I only needed 2 classes and then I was done with pre-req's. I'm just going to take a&p2 and the history this summer to help get it out of the way. I am a little bummed the teacher I had for a&p 1 isnt going to teach there anymore I guess so now I have to take it with another teacher... Any suggestions on who is any good?

Who's not teaching anymore? I love ******. She's tough but I learned a ton in her class.
One of my history classes count, the other does not. I need to meet with an advisor. When I took the 2 classes they were together (I think it was Hst21 and 22- I will check on that)
Hey name was ******, I loved her class she was great. I'm hoping the rumor isn't true but I haven't seen her name listed with the a&p2 classes for spring so I difnt take it this semester which worked out because my advisor told me not to take chem and a&p2 at the same time so maybe she will teach in the summer. I'm crossing my fingers. I need to meet with an advisor too.
Also I was at burlington coat factory they have some cute scubs pretty cheap, but we all need our packets so we know what colors we need! It's killing me I just want to shop!

I went directly to the accounts office, I didn't mail it. They gave me a receipt. I would call just to be sure they received it Don't be nervous, I'm sure they're getting tons of them right now.
