Bristol Community College (BCC) Nursing 2021

Hi all,

I wanted to create this thread for students applying to BCC's program for Fall 2021. How are things going for everyone in the current climate? Please feel free to share your thoughts, experiences, etc. Former/current students, do you have any insight to share?

I am happy that I actually passed my first exam being that said I think I just read to much into the book. I really don’t know how to study for this term exactly. Do you have any pointers of what I need to do and how to study for this course cause I’m trying?

I listened to the voice threads over and over again, FA Davis helped, even though their questions are super hard! A friend of mine told me yesterday to look at the subheadings in the chapter and make notes on the bolded information, and then when you get the study guide add whatever the teacher mentions a few times highlight that in your notes, because it's probably important if it's been repeated a few times. And study group zoom sessions!

Thank you so much for the pointer! Are u in a study group? I am definitely aiming for a high grade next test! Although I passed the first exam but Im looking forward to reviewing it because I thought I did much better than that!

Ohhh! Man I guess I’m okay! I passed my first exam! I’m so scared about the 2nd assessment! I just feel prepared and unprepared at the same time. I feel very overwhelmed. I just don’t know

I'm sorry you are overwhelmed! Did you end up joining Victoria's study group? I saw they lined up some tutoring days as well.

Being overwhelmed is a totally normal feeling. I'm sure you have the exam in the bag. It can be hard when you are used to all A's to maybe not do as well, I know I struggled with that first semester.

But remember the person with the 100 average and the person with the 78 average at the end all take the same NCLEX. ?

It's great to have friends! Especially with everything being online I feel like I only know 5 people sometimes, haha
