Bristol Community College (BCC) Nursing 2021

Published

Hi all,

I wanted to create this thread for students applying to BCC's program for Fall 2021. How are things going for everyone in the current climate? Please feel free to share your thoughts, experiences, etc. Former/current students, do you have any insight to share?

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Hi friends! I have been creeping hard, cheering you all on in the shadows. I am in my last semester and it seems just like yesterday I was on this blog with my classmates freaking out about decisions. YOU GOT THIS!! Our DW changed the last Friday in February also. Breathe! I think by 10-11am I noticed the change. Fingers and toes crossed for all of you!

Whether it is based on reading the whole chapter or just what is in the powerpoint really depends on the professor. Technically you are responsible for the whole chapter.

Exams aren't out to trick you though, they review the exams after to decide if a question came across tricky and sometimes they throw that question out (rarely though)

None of the professors are mean, but some can be tougher than others. It is for your own good though because they are usually tougher on things that could be dangerous to you or the patient. For example recapping needles or forgetting to put side rails up.

I noticed that stuff you mentioned  we learned as Medical Assistants!

Yea the tuition is STEEEEEP. I do have financial aid for it, but I haven't logged on yet to accept it or deny it. Because I haven't paid my fee yet. I'm waiting until Monday

Their royal blue clinical scrubs are much cuter then our solid grey ?

If anyone is in need of scrubs(ill hang onto books until after NCLEX I have Small/Medium clinical scrubs about 4 sets and the white coat which was only used for first semester! Cause even the uniforms can add up.
