Hello everyone! I am creating this forum in hopes to connect with other pre-nursing students who will be applying into BCC's program for Fall of 2020! What are your grades and TEAS scores? Also, current/former students, do you have any advice or insight on the program?
I look forward to hearing from you!
Last year was the first year they only used the nursing prerequisites to determine entry. They stopped taking students at 3.7, this means everyone above that got in. The pool might be different this year but I think we are pretty safe. Everyone has worked really hard to hold GPS that high. Good luck. I can’t wait for the anxiety to be over.

Isn't taking age in account illegal????
I'm not saying it's true, just the horror stories to add to my stress I've heard. They, "prioritize recent graduates" so kids that focused on it right out of high school. Probably total lies but makes you wonder.

Ugh now im scared! I mean thats penalizing anyone who picked a wrong first career and that really sucks

"The type of people who are reaching out to make connections and find out more are likely the 'Type A' ones and are near the top anyway"
Hope that helps
I hope that this is the case.

The MCAD enforces Title XXI, Chapter 151C.
It is illegal discrimination if you were denied admission to a school, university, or other educational institution in Massachusetts based on your race, color, religious creed, national origin, sex, age, criminal record, or disability including blindness or deafness.
One must meet the educational qualifications for the program and refusal of admission must be based on discrimination related to membership in a protected class.
The law covers admission to a program or course of study that leads to a degree
