Bristol Community College (BCC) Nursing 2020

Hello everyone! I am creating this forum in hopes to connect with other pre-nursing students who will be applying into BCC's program for Fall of 2020! What are your grades and TEAS scores? Also, current/former students, do you have any advice or insight on the program?

Question, everyone keeps saying they check their degree works but I'm confused where you check? So you go to access bcc then degree works then what?

Where it says your major right now it will say "general health science" or something like that I can't get in again.

When you get in it changes to nursing or it has in years past

I think it will be the 28th. It’s the last Friday of the month and everyone found out on the 22nd last year.

What's everyone's gpa for the prerequisite classes?? I need to know everyone's ???

Rounded them all up for you ?

Mine : 4.0

CarrieKris: 3.89

Krivera1305: 3.7

Treece: 4.0

David00: 3.95

Kelsey Houlihan: 4.0

You: 3.83

I'm curious, how old is everyone?

I'm only 24 but in some of my classes I feel so old! ?

Im 21 ..... but ughh I really hope I get in it's really getting so close to finding out now ? I know someone who told me I would definitely get in because they had a lower gpa than myself but I'm like seeing such good gpas its stressing me out

I'm 27 so I am old LOL I've heard horror stories about people with 4.0 gpas not getting in. And that they take nationality and age into account even though they can't tell us that. That's why you hear random stories of low GPAs getting in.

So I'm just terrified of everything.

Somebody calmed me down when I had this exact fear by saying something like

"The type of people who are reaching out to make connections and find out more are likely the 'Type A' ones and are near the top anyway"

Nah! When I first started classes I had ladies in their 60s in classes with me
