Bristol Community College (BCC) Nursing 2020

Updated:   Published

Hello everyone! I am creating this forum in hopes to connect with other pre-nursing students who will be applying into BCC's program for Fall of 2020! What are your grades and TEAS scores? Also, current/former students, do you have any advice or insight on the program?

I look forward to hearing from you!

I called admissions about two weeks ago because my paranoid self had to check (again) that my application was completed correctly. They said that it was under review, pending a decision and that I should most likely find out by the end of February.

I just want to know ?

I called admissions and they said late February to late March. I can't live with that big of a window.

That is an unfair window

Hello all :)

this is the absolute most nerve racking thing. From what I was told they completely go off pre-requisite grades. Your teas score if you met the score is just a check pass or fail. If you got the 55% they just check it off. I have a 4.0 but have also applied to another school that I would prefer. I’m still scared I might not get into either. Just because it seems like everyone has a high GPA. If I do get in to both I will be going to MWCC. Does anyone know after getting accepted how long you have to drop off your deposit?

Yes that is what I was told too. You have until May 1st to secure your seat.

Did anyone apply to CCRI too?

No, but I heard they have an amazing program

Is anyone finding it really difficult to stay focused on their current coursework and do as well since we are done with prerequisites and overcome with anxiety waiting?

Hello everyone,

don't think its possible to wait any longer!!! I've been so nervous my gpa for the prerequisites is 3.83. I see ALOT of people who have higher than me makes me super super anxious hopefully it's good enough. WE NEED TO FIND OUT SOON

It's crazy how competitive the program is. It's because BCC is a great program at a reasonable cost.
