Hi everyone, I'm fairly new in this forum. I just discovered this very informative site this evening as I was Googling "William Light Institute September intake." I am bound for WLI Adelaide this September for the BP. I have known of two other nurses who are taking the BP, mooh mooh and gemini star. Are there any other forumers here who are enrolled at WLI for September? It is such a relief to know of fellow Filipino nurses who are taking the same big leap to Australia. I wish us all the best. The thought of being classmates with you guys already excites me!

We'll be classmates dude! See you in Adelaide! :clpty:

How do I get in touch with you guys? I wish to send you private messages for I have some questions to ask. If that would be okay?

Of course it would be great. Go and have 12 more posts. You can PM me afterwards. I'd be more than willing to answer your questions:yeah:

Hi mooh mooh! Looking forward to meet you as well! When will you be arriving in Adelaide? We only have barely three weeks to prepare. What kind of preparations are you doing?

You need 15 or more posts to be able to send a pm.

Thank you for the information. :)

wow! everyone is busy already with their upcoming bridging programs! i am really glad everyone had done something for the past year...hehe..im currently waiting for my visa which is due this week...my fellow future classmates from this forum got theirs already! wooot! VCHN for october anyone?? goodluck to all of us! cheers!

i've been reading a lot about bridging program for the past weeks. i'm so inspired to do the same..,

goodluck to those who were already starting their BP! :yeah:

To those who are applying to bridging schools, did you inform the Nursing and Midwifery board already regarding your acceptance?

Because I called up Mercy Health and they told me to contact the Board to ask if my letter was still valid given that they already have new standards.

I dont know if I still need to have my documents re-assessed. Can they possibly revoke my eligibility given that i have no experience and the new standards do require experience?

@ i.kristianmark thanks for the info.

@kuri_288 that's scary. i also have the same problem here. i hope our eligibility letters would not be affected

Also, does anybody know Australian Centre of Further Education or anybody who is planning to enroll there? I want to know more about this one because I heard that one of the owner of this training center is a Filipino, so maybe, just maybe, they have much consideration for Filipino nurses. :)

I am also eyeing ACFE. And it's within the city so it's accessible to everything! Food, church, trams.. and the like.. :) Mercy Health Training Institute is also within the city so it's also a good option :) But since you said the owner of ACFE is a Filipino, that would probably be a big help as well. :)
