Oh fudge! Looks like the work statement document causes much of the delay to several applicants. I am to receive the eligibility letter soon. Don't worry Jakey, it only takes a week for them to reply if you have outstanding documents. I am sure you will also receive the letter of approval soon.:cool:

I hope so too.... i hope before the month ends.......

@mikyong

hi there! I called up NBV this morning. I don't wanna burst anyone's bubble (anyone who submitted their application this month, that is..) but the person who took my call said that realistically she doesn't think that I will be assessed before July 1 because they only received my application last week. My documents, according to her, are still being reviewed. Its more likely that my application along with those who submitted just this month will be turned-over to the new Board. To think that THE change is a week from now...

I politely thanked her, and after our conversation I felt soooo down...

But she didn't say anything about me being denied or anything so I guess it's not really bad news. It's just that I (we) need to be patient, wait and accept the fact that I submitted my application late already.. ;)

We can do this mikyong! Let's just hang in there!

@sweet_toothRN

Hello! I gave them a ring this morning as well, and the lady said they already received my application and my IELTS result. I asked her if there would still be a chance for my other supporting documents( from school and PRC) which were addressed to their current office to reach them in case they have already relocated and she told me that it will be sent to the new office.

And regarding our application assessment , from lurking and reading posts in this forum alone, I do know that it will take quite some long time to wait for their response, and that recently submitted applications will eventually be turned over under national office (correct me if im wrong). :) so I kind of expected what you have shared. thanks sweet_tooth and i do pray for a good news for us. hehe

It's good that you guys were able to speak with someone in nbv. thanks for the update though it's quite depressing :( i also tried calling them last week but only got AM. I emailed them last friday but there's no reply yet.

Don't fret guys, give NBV 3 months to review your applications. That's their average processing time. Expect that it will get delayed due to the National Board. Be patient and keep your hopes up. :)

David had to learn to fend off wolves from his flock of sheep before defeating Goliath, I am sure there is a lesson and a blessing to be received from this minor setback. Good things come to those who wait..God Bless..

hello mynalla!:) try calling them up in the morning, they possibly accommodate enquiries thru calls in the morning. what i know is that they normally respond to emails a day or two after you sent it. the delay is probably due to the vast number of applications that they are processing and the additional workloads from the upcoming changes come july 1st. who knows, the processing of applications will be faster after the commencement of the national registration, ryt? hehe wishful thinking you might say but lets fill our minds with positive thoughts :yeah:

Hello everyone! Looks like there will be quite a number of Filipinos in the batches that will follow mine here in VCHN! Our class of 40 is composed of only 3 Filipinos. There are 2 from Zimbabwe and the rest are Indian. It's all a mix of people applying for registration to different states.

Hi Kiwifruit! how's it going with your BP at VCHN? im currently staying in Perth and few weeks ago i sent my application for enrollment at Curtin as i am planning to do the Conversion program there. now im starting to contemplate whether to still pursue the program or not because of the length of study involved (although it's really much cheaper if i do the conversion since i am only required to pay 5k for the whole year as compared to 10k/3mos at VCHN. but i really find the conversion too long). :p

i just want to know if the BP at VCHN is hard and very competitive? i heard some rumours that since it is a BP running for only 3mos with most of the students having many years of experience, the program can be a real challenge specially for those who have lesser/no experience? Otherwise, if it isnt as dreadful as i heard it is, i might withdraw my enrollment at Curtin and opt for VCHN. thanks a lot! :):):)
