Hi. I am new here. I don't know exactly where to go. I am a registered nurse here in the Philippines and I am interested in studying in Australia for a bridging course that will help me become a registered nurse there. I need some help on looking for a good school that offers a bridging course.
My aunt told me that a friend of her friend just went to AU to take up a test and in 6 months she's there for a bridging program. and I have this friend who has a friend who became a registered nurse in AU in 6 months time too. This agency is offering me to study for a certificate III aged care with occupational English test for 46 weeks in Einstein College but it costs too much. So now, I am trying to look for a school wherein I can apply by myself and hopefully get in. I am hoping I could leave for AU this June 2011. I am a bit lost on what to do. Can you help me, please? Any suggestions? ? Please help me. Thank you very much.
(Sydney area would be better since my parents are more familiar and in favor of that place... though other cities/areas will be great too)
the registration fee would be 160aud
Hi Noveau,
Would like to ask. Have you completed your Bridging Program? What else did they require from you?
I mean, After passing the bridging program, the school will be the one who will forward your papers to AHPRA right? you'll also give the school your registration fee to be submitted by the school to ahpra? would there be any other documents AHPRA would require from you? Like do they want a copy of your police check in australia also?
And didn't we pay the registration fee already upon application when we started this whole thing?
Hoping for your input.
Thank you very much!

Oh i did not pay my registatrion fee upon application to ahpra and i am yet to start my bridging program next month.
Hi jen..I agree. I felt that too that's why I took a leave from work so I can concentrate on it. Anyways,,,,I completed the communication module before I ask them if I got 80% already. Though I still have 3 remaining workbooks till now for module 3 which I didn't work on. This is my last day to access the elearning platform but they already informed me last week that I already got 80% completion which is the requirement...but don't worry about the communication module,,, piece of cake! You can do it.. :)
