Bridging Program in Australia

World Registration

Published

Hi. I am new here. I don't know exactly where to go. I am a registered nurse here in the Philippines and I am interested in studying in Australia for a bridging course that will help me become a registered nurse there. I need some help on looking for a good school that offers a bridging course.

My aunt told me that a friend of her friend just went to AU to take up a test and in 6 months she's there for a bridging program. and I have this friend who has a friend who became a registered nurse in AU in 6 months time too. This agency is offering me to study for a certificate III aged care with occupational English test for 46 weeks in Einstein College but it costs too much. So now, I am trying to look for a school wherein I can apply by myself and hopefully get in. I am hoping I could leave for AU this June 2011. I am a bit lost on what to do. Can you help me, please? Any suggestions? ? Please help me. Thank you very much. :clown:

(Sydney area would be better since my parents are more familiar and in favor of that place... though other cities/areas will be great too)

Hi.. Do you think there is an advantage if I apply to schools through an agent?

Hi ms lani_ g! Perhaps they are still encoding etc the offer letters since when i made a follow up around 10 am, they replied after almost an hour i guess and said they just completed my offer when i sent my message. Try to send them a message :)

By the way, did you also apply to mercy health? Thanks!

Hi Sephine,

I also applied at Mercy Health. I was interviewed yesterday. The result will be sent via email on Monday. I am really nervous of what the outcome might be. Are you going to accept the offer letter of Alpine? Are you going to avail their accommodation?

I would say no. I did everything on my own.

You mean its ok to apply for 456 visa even without indurance yet? How much did u pay? Is the $89 good for just 1 month?

Yeah even without it yet. But you must purchase one after if you'll be going to IHNA especially in Melbourne. I purchased just the basic one that's $36 per month.

Cos you went to a different school right? For IHNA students here in Mel, it is required.

You can do that because some agency have connections with diff schools. And these schools recognizes these agencies as well.

Visit to Ed DePt. 220 au. Visit to DR. 80au. Overnight rates in hospital. 480 a night. Medications on prescription. 60-100 to 1000'sau. And if you end up in private would be higher.

Oh. Ambulance. 20k, 4500 au. For one trip or does the AU taxpayer pay for it if required?

Then worry about getting a visa of any kind as a debt is owed to the Commonwealth.

Because I see to it that I pray so that I will not encounter all of these expenses. Anyway, we can pay for these stuff if needed. :)
