Hi. I am new here. I don't know exactly where to go. I am a registered nurse here in the Philippines and I am interested in studying in Australia for a bridging course that will help me become a registered nurse there. I need some help on looking for a good school that offers a bridging course.
My aunt told me that a friend of her friend just went to AU to take up a test and in 6 months she's there for a bridging program. and I have this friend who has a friend who became a registered nurse in AU in 6 months time too. This agency is offering me to study for a certificate III aged care with occupational English test for 46 weeks in Einstein College but it costs too much. So now, I am trying to look for a school wherein I can apply by myself and hopefully get in. I am hoping I could leave for AU this June 2011. I am a bit lost on what to do. Can you help me, please? Any suggestions? ? Please help me. Thank you very much.
(Sydney area would be better since my parents are more familiar and in favor of that place... though other cities/areas will be great too)
Yep, same link and still all three program's are either out of date or soon to be out of date and no announcement or advice on any of their websites....Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency - Approved Programs of Studyread that link guys..
Click on the link saying 'details' so you get the full picture - opens up more information and gives the finishing date for accreditation with each of the schools.
Think we have been had.
Sorry, with all this worry I meant to say I was ETEA bound in January.....anyone else for ETEA for 2013.
According to ANMAC schools are not to advertise, enrol or take money if they do not have accrediation.
I am for january intake.. Just knew about it yesterday and i really dont know what to think as of now..

Hi, I cannot do private messages as yet....Telling the school about AHPRA showing their accreditation is running out, is not the answer, we need to know what is happening....what is the problem....is it easily sorted in the next month or so.. Otherwise let us know and we will look elsewhere for a school.
Still nothing on their website to explain and help us relax.
Still no answer from emails.
It is pretty clear in AHPRAs list....they were allowed to run 2 courses with lots of feedback to AHPRA for October and November cohorts, then their accreditation was to cease.
Do you think it is another administrative mistake?

I already sent a email to ETEA regarding this issue, and they told me that they are working for the reaccreditation process as of now.. The worst part of their email is that, they moved my BP schedule from January 14 to January 9,2013. So now, I need to rebook my flight which is supposed to be January 10, 2013.. Really ******..

hi xymathea! i am applying online at ihna, i just want to ask, 1.do i need to complete ALL the needed attachments before i can proceed with the interview? or i can get interview while still compleing the requirements
2. what is the certificate of current registration? is this the same as cert of good standing?
thanks!
Hi. I already emailed IHNA and this is the reply:
IHNA is already in process of gaining a renewal for Registration Bridging Program. This is a normal process, in every five years RTOs have to renew their licence. Our Perth campus is already done with the accreditation process and has its accreditation renewed till 2017. Regarding the Melbourne campus, we are awaiting the results to be published. The audit went on well. Thus you need not be worried. As the decision could not be made in time, ANMAC has provided us an extension till 30th Nov 2012.
