Hi. I am new here. I don't know exactly where to go. I am a registered nurse here in the Philippines and I am interested in studying in Australia for a bridging course that will help me become a registered nurse there. I need some help on looking for a good school that offers a bridging course.
My aunt told me that a friend of her friend just went to AU to take up a test and in 6 months she's there for a bridging program. and I have this friend who has a friend who became a registered nurse in AU in 6 months time too. This agency is offering me to study for a certificate III aged care with occupational English test for 46 weeks in Einstein College but it costs too much. So now, I am trying to look for a school wherein I can apply by myself and hopefully get in. I am hoping I could leave for AU this June 2011. I am a bit lost on what to do. Can you help me, please? Any suggestions? ? Please help me. Thank you very much.
(Sydney area would be better since my parents are more familiar and in favor of that place... though other cities/areas will be great too)
HI NURSES!
Is there anybody know about the MINIMUM REQUIREMENT of experience that is needed for BP. Unfortunately, my experience now is already expired because it was in 2009. I went to Australia in 2011 for other course and was not able to practice my nursing and also due to additional requirements to be eligible in acquiring the BP such as taking the English exam: OET, PTE, IELTS. However, I am now ready to go back to nursing and just recently past my English exam. The only thing that bothers me is the minimum experience that Aphra is asking for the international nurses to provide them. I am currently working in aged care as a TEAM LEADER which is also I believe that it would be an equivalent experience as an RN1.
Would be anyone here have the same situation that has been approved by the aprah for the BP with an aged care experienced as a TEAM LEADER?
many thank!
ALL THE BEST FOR OUR FUTURE AND GOD BLESS US ALL...
Hi @faith2911, Im enrolled in ACFE.
Can anyone help me with regards to afp national police check? I have my foreign passport and thats 70 points. I need 30 points more to fulfill 100pts needed. But I got a bit confused after reading some posts and from immigration border website information about applying for afp NPC. I worked in Qatar for 4 years then came back home April 2017. Is it the same process with fit2work wherein I have to apply for a Qatar and Philippines police check or this one is for Australia only? Because as per ACFE I can address it to them if I don't have an Australian address yet. Even writing my inquiry is confusing but I hope you guys can understand me hehe. My friend also said that once I arrive in Melbourne, I need to open an account so I can apply for a bank statement to be used for my NPC but I think ACFE wants me to apply as soon as possible. Help please! í ½í¸£í ½í¸£í ½í¸£

Hi, I guess you can always send an inquiry. They have email address on their website. In my case, after a month that they received my application, they messaged me for recertification of some documents, then a month after I sent some recertified docs, they issued my LOE. Sent my documents last May, got my LOE late July.
