Hi. I am new here. I don't know exactly where to go. I am a registered nurse here in the Philippines and I am interested in studying in Australia for a bridging course that will help me become a registered nurse there. I need some help on looking for a good school that offers a bridging course.
My aunt told me that a friend of her friend just went to AU to take up a test and in 6 months she's there for a bridging program. and I have this friend who has a friend who became a registered nurse in AU in 6 months time too. This agency is offering me to study for a certificate III aged care with occupational English test for 46 weeks in Einstein College but it costs too much. So now, I am trying to look for a school wherein I can apply by myself and hopefully get in. I am hoping I could leave for AU this June 2011. I am a bit lost on what to do. Can you help me, please? Any suggestions? ? Please help me. Thank you very much.
(Sydney area would be better since my parents are more familiar and in favor of that place... though other cities/areas will be great too)
Hi @PhRnBB! What I did was, I went to the AFP website where I applied online for NPC (National Police Check). It is a separate requirement from the local police check (Philippine Police Check). It will ask for an address where they can mail the NPC result. I gave my sister's address in Australia. If you do not have an address there, you can have it sent to ACFE, as stated in ACFE's email. As you proceed with the application, it will bring you to a page where you need to pay online. I am unsure about the bank statement requirement as I did not see it as a requirement for the NPC Name Check. A few days ago, I received an email from AFP-NPC that that they have completed the check and will send the certificate to the address that I provided. Postage will take 3-7 working days within Australia and 10-20 working days for international post. Hope this helps!

@kdsapon0512 Are you still engaged with philman? When are you planning to do BP? I am also engaged with them, but they only offer lonsdale. So im thinking if I can still go with them because im eyeing other institution. Thank you.
HI i would like to ask if i am still eligible for nurse bridging program in australia
my last hospital experience was from june 2011 to june 2014. If i need to top up my experience is only hospital experience accepted for bridging or does a clinic or company nurse suffice? will the bp really increase to 6 months?
Yes you are still eligible to submit an application in ahpra to refer you in BP (as long as your experience is within the last 5years). It doesn't require you to meet the hospital experience as long as you're practicing your profession as an rn (e.g. Be it a company nurse or clinic nurse).
Hello friends, I have recently received a mail from my RO that, My COGS send from the Saudi Council Dammam was not accepted because it was send from third party. Actually it was send directly from the SCHS office in Dammam. Anybody has faced the same issue please share your experience and requested your guidance.
