Hi. I am new here. I don't know exactly where to go. I am a registered nurse here in the Philippines and I am interested in studying in Australia for a bridging course that will help me become a registered nurse there. I need some help on looking for a good school that offers a bridging course.
My aunt told me that a friend of her friend just went to AU to take up a test and in 6 months she's there for a bridging program. and I have this friend who has a friend who became a registered nurse in AU in 6 months time too. This agency is offering me to study for a certificate III aged care with occupational English test for 46 weeks in Einstein College but it costs too much. So now, I am trying to look for a school wherein I can apply by myself and hopefully get in. I am hoping I could leave for AU this June 2011. I am a bit lost on what to do. Can you help me, please? Any suggestions? ? Please help me. Thank you very much.
(Sydney area would be better since my parents are more familiar and in favor of that place... though other cities/areas will be great too)
Can anyone help me with regards to afp national police check? I have my foreign passport and thats 70 points. I need 30 points more to fulfill 100pts needed. But I got a bit confused after reading some posts and from immigration border website information about applying for afp NPC. I worked in Qatar for 4 years then came back home April 2017. Is it the same process with fit2work wherein I have to apply for a Qatar and Philippines police check or this one is for Australia only? Because as per ACFE I can address it to them if I don't have an Australian address yet. Even writing my inquiry is confusing but I hope you guys can understand me hehe. My friend also said that once I arrive in Melbourne, I need to open an account so I can apply for a bank statement to be used for my NPC but I think ACFE wants me to apply as soon as possible. Help please! ������������������
Hi @PhRnBB! What I did was, I went to the AFP website where I applied online for NPC (National Police Check). It is a separate requirement from the local police check (Philippine Police Check). It will ask for an address where they can mail the NPC result. I gave my sister's address in Australia. If you do not have an address there, you can have it sent to ACFE, as stated in ACFE's email. As you proceed with the application, it will bring you to a page where you need to pay online. I am unsure about the bank statement requirement as I did not see it as a requirement for the NPC Name Check. A few days ago, I received an email from AFP-NPC that that they have completed the check and will send the certificate to the address that I provided. Postage will take 3-7 working days within Australia and 10-20 working days for international post. Hope this helps!

Hi @faith2911! My AHPRA registration officer sent me an email regarding the refusal for registration and in the email he told me to respond if I accept the decision (of the refusal) so that they can start processing the refund. Mine was refunded thru the credit card that I used to pay them.
