Bridging Program in Australia

Published

Hi. I am new here. I don't know exactly where to go. I am a registered nurse here in the Philippines and I am interested in studying in Australia for a bridging course that will help me become a registered nurse there. I need some help on looking for a good school that offers a bridging course.

My aunt told me that a friend of her friend just went to AU to take up a test and in 6 months she's there for a bridging program. and I have this friend who has a friend who became a registered nurse in AU in 6 months time too. This agency is offering me to study for a certificate III aged care with occupational English test for 46 weeks in Einstein College but it costs too much. So now, I am trying to look for a school wherein I can apply by myself and hopefully get in. I am hoping I could leave for AU this June 2011. I am a bit lost on what to do. Can you help me, please? Any suggestions? ? Please help me. Thank you very much. :clown:

(Sydney area would be better since my parents are more familiar and in favor of that place... though other cities/areas will be great too)

Only if you have loads of actual nusing experience to go along with your masters.

Anyone here for IHNA - Melbourne campus on Oct 2013 intake? It would great if I meet future classmates here :) I'm currently waiting for the pick up date (August 16) via VIA center or Air21.

I was searching for University of Ballarat's IRON program in the AHPRA approved programs but I can't find it. Is the program still active per AHPRA's decision? The school still has it up in their website. Is it still ok?

Hi kach_me1,

Nice to meet you. i was hoping someone for the same date of intake would reply. I'm from Davao. I have yet to lodge my application but was told today that Air21 will pick my paper this Friday.

Btw, are you a male or female? I'm a female. After the visa processing, I'm worried about finding an accommodation near IHNA. Have you found a place to stay?

Anyone for the September intake of AAON?

Like how many years of experience do u think is more secured?

Hi ann leah. Thanks for the pre reading.

I already received my visa grant notice thru email last thurs. still need to pick up the hard copy at sdp. Still waiting for their advice thru sms/call. I will send a certified copy of the notice to acn today.

to those who had their BP at ihna, just few questions regarding their accommodation..is their AUD3000 accommodation worth it. What are the things included in their accommodation?will they choose your roommate?will they send you to an accommodation with the same nationality?Still weighing things if i will avail their accommodation, its too pricy!

Hi! jo_tan, are you for Aug 23 intake in INHA Perth ? Did you avail of their accommodation? Where did you get your MRSA clearance? Thanks
