I'm looking for anyone who is applying to this school this year. Please let us know when you applied and any progress you make to getting accepted. Good luck to everyone!
I applied in early Dec. and decided to to retake the TEAS test before sending it for review. Form what I understand it takes anywhere from 2 weeks - 2 months to get accepted or not. Past experience has said more like the 2 months is the norm. I should be getting my results from the TEAS test today and it will be promptly moved to review next week (1/19/15). I will confirm the date when it actually gets sent.
I will update any progress as I get it.
So, I checked the mail today- no letter, but then I went on sonisweb and saw my "Level" was updated to "Accepted" !!!!!!
I'm so excited!!!
FOR THOSE STILL WAITING- have hope!!
I didn't think I get in, I'm way too hard on myself, plus it was a last minute decision to apply.
My stats were not all too impressive- I had a 66.0% for the TEAS V and a 2.95 GPA because of a screwup during my Spring '14 semester @ HCC. I expect it to skyrocket after this semester ends because I took the class I failed over. But anyway-
I wish all of you guys still waiting LOTS OF luck, and see all that were accepted so far soon!! :)
Hi everyone! I have read all of your posts and I feel your pain! I have called, left voice mails, and emails....no response though. It said that my letter was sent April 7th and then as of yesterday the bottom section with the dates of when it was sent out disappeared. It still says "not enrolled" so I'm thinking I didn't get it
Does anyone know how soon we can find out about financial aid/loans?
Also do they give the book list out? I want to start looking into books now lol
Also has anyone heard about this... someone who works at bridgeport hospital told me they arent hiring nurses with associates anymore. Just bachelors... that sounds SO wrong. WHy offer this program then?

You can get hired with an Associate's degree, but MUST show proof of being enrolled in a Bachelor's program at your interview.

Just called again, and was told pretty much the same as last time when I called a couple weeks ago. She said they are sending out lots of letters everyday, and that when the letters are sent, our status WILL update to "decision letter sent".
So guys keep checking your status daily, it may change soon! We shall wait and see!!!!
