Is anyone else applying for the part-time Spring 2014 term? Any full-time applicants?
I didn't get the same email either. I am also not taking classes at Brenau now either. I am pretty sure though that we are still going to get letters. My admissions specialist I talked with said that there would be letters coming that would tell us all about the deposit, fees, etc. I wouldn't get worried guys just yet!
To all those worried about not receiving the email. I haven't received it either, but I think we shouldn't jump to conclusions. It could simply be that those who are receiving are already attending Brenau as Pre-nursing majors and the rest of us are not. I know that the nursing program had the files of those already attending but not us transfer students. So, be encouraged and hang tight! Hopefully, many letters will come in today!
I think the email came to those already attending. It's like they have a contact list for pre nursing and they blast out emails occasionally. I would not be worried at all if I were you guys. I have been at Brenau for a year now and I have received emails similar to this before. I would not take it as any kind of sign at all!!
LPN2BSNRN,Thanks for the reply. Referring to "they answered questions about if you could take other stuff with nursing and that was a no"...I wonder when that starts. I haven't taken Patho or Med Term yet. Where did they mention clinicals?
Sorry can't help you on the Spanish for healthcare. It sounds like it would come in handy though.
From what I gathered this did not apply to those that are applying to PT in January 2014, but to those for Full Time 2014 and the following years. The clinical sites they mentioned were Gwinnett Medical Center, Joan Glancy and Habersham and some at NEGA Medical Center and Laurelwood. They said that they would try to place you close to where you live unless you specifically wanted to go to a particular hospital.
Not much you can do,but distract yourself and wait. and PRAY

I was hoping the same thing as far as maybe it is a early sign that I got accepted but the fact it mentioned prereq's makes me think it is another informational type session that is open to pre-nursing majors... I don't know though. I pray we don't have to wait all weekend (and the holiday) to find out!!!
