  1. Thanks for setting up the page. Great idea!
  2. Hey jharris, Thanks for the warning. Would you recommend buying the book with supplementary materials (if it has any like access codes or CD's?). I usually buy used to save money but would rather buy new if we really need the supplementary material. Thanks!
  3. Congratulations Ladies!! Wooohooo!!
  4. It's OFFICIAL!! Got my letter today. I'm in. No it's not a joke, it's not a dream or a figment of my imagination. Can't wait to hear from the rest of y'all!!
  5. Hello everyone! I received an email back from my advisor that she thought the letters were sent yesterday. We should receive them by the end of the week!
  6. To all those worried about not receiving the email. I haven't received it either, but I think we shouldn't jump to conclusions. It could simply be that those who are receiving are already attending Brenau as Pre-nursing majors and the rest of us are not. I know that the nursing program had the files of those already attending but not us transfer students. So, be encouraged and hang tight! Hopefully, many letters will come in today!
  7. LPN2BSNRN, Thanks for the reply. Referring to "they answered questions about if you could take other stuff with nursing and that was a no"...I wonder when that starts. I haven't taken Patho or Med Term yet. Where did they mention clinicals? Sorry can't help you on the Spanish for healthcare. It sounds like it would come in handy though.
  8. Sadly no letter today. Oh please, oh please by tomorrow because I can't stand to wait over the holiday weekend.
  9. Yay!! The mail is fast in my neck of the woods, so maybe tomorrow! I will let you all know immediately!
  10. Hey! I did break down and call the nursing department yesterday. Unfortunately, didn't get much info. She said that admissions is handling it now. If I don't get a letter by next Tuesday, I plan to call admissions.
  11. Hi LPN2BSNRN! Thanks for the info on Med Term. I went to a tour once this summer. It was just a tour for me and not any information. If you learn anything specific about the program tonight, I would really appreciate learning what it is. Oh, you asked about Foreign Language. I'm a second degree student, took French many years ago.
  12. That is so nice that your advisor will email when letters go out. I will be looking for your post with the good news! Thank you for responding regarding patho and the other courses. I'm not taking the two that I don't have this Fall. If I don't get into Brenau's Part-time program, I will likely apply to North Georgia. I agree with your sentiments that God has a plan for us. I keep telling myself that if I;m denied it is for reasons that I cannot see now but it is for the best.
  13. Are we suppose to take Patho and Med Term before starting the program? Or is this part of the new requirement?
  14. Hi medskool! Welcome to the thread. Let me preface what I'm about to say about the science section on the Kaplan with telling you that it is only 20 questions (going off memory here). So, when you think about the breadth and depth of A&P, that is like studying for a needle in the haystack. With that being said, I would recommend focusing on A&PII stuff and how it applies clinically. There are clinical examples in my textbook at the end of each chapter and I would assume others would have it as well. I would go over those and the end of chapter reviews/questions. Maybe even some n-clex practice questions. Kaplan also creates the n-clex, I believe.
  15. Hello all. How is everyone doing with the wait? Hopefully we will know sometime next week! Thinking optimistically, is anyone in the Canton area as well? Would love to connect with others near me for possible ride share or study group.
