I will be RELAXING and trying to enjoy my last little bit of time before I begin RN school in January!! I'm excited but want to rest after the rough semester I've had with Micro & Human Growth/Development!
Also, I'm looking forward to doing non-school reading too :) I started 'Gone with the Wind' yesterday but I doubt I'll finish it over break...lol
I plan on sleeping in, staying up as late as I want at night, not worrying about exams, clinicals, or what time I have to be in class or at the hospital, and just relaxing in general. Our next semester is going to be incredibly hectic, and I will enjoy every minute of my freedom. Next semester we are taking Nursing 112 and 211 together. They are both meant to be 16 week courses, but each is shortened to 7 weeks, and put together in the same semester. This means that we cover med-surg in much greater detail, are introduced to the operating room, PACU, and outpatient, continue our work on the surgical floor, and have to learn about pediatric nursing, with an intro to oncological nursing and hospice care to boot. We have an OR, PACU, OP, and hospice clinical experience in addition to our regular time on the surgical and pediatric floors. It's going to be fun, but it will be very trying, stressful, and busy.
redeem my groupon for an hour long bamboo massage, get my hair trimmed, take a loooong bubble bath, read for fun, experiment with new recipes, clean the house from top to bottom, eat lunch with my kids at school, go to the beach for new years, have great sex w/ the hubby, stay up late and sleep in :)
