Hello everyone! So I’m looking for advise from some nurses who may have had similar experiences as me. I was pregnant in my senior year of nursing school, and had my daughter a month after graduation. I was unable to take my NCLEX between graduation and having her, and being home with a newborn, I put studying for the exam on hold, knowing I wouldn’t be able to leave her for the exam. Now, a year later, I am dying to take the exam but I am extremely worried that I may have lost a lot of knowledge. Any advise would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you ?

Can you find a study group, review class, etc.?

Moved to NCLEX
I have looked into it, but I am looking for something strictly online. I have very little help with my daughter, and my husband is a fire fighter who works most of the week, so I would not be able to do an in class review. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for review classes or which strategies to use to study? I’ve been doing review questions and watching some videos.

Hi tmarie4,
If you think you need a content review, there are several online options link Hurst, Kaplan, Remar, etc. However, I find that most nurse graduates don't need a full content review, but benefit most from individualized NCLEX test-taking strategy tutoring. There are several online tutors out there, and some (including myself) have a 100% pass rate.
Good luck - you got this!

Hurst review is quite helpful and comprehensive. Lippincott book is pretty good too. Comes with about 4-6 comprehensive exams with tons of questions. Good luck.
