I'm wondering if any one has heard of Brandman University. They have a new ABSN program in San Diego, CA that i'm looking into. My grades are not competitive but i want to get into my career soon.
Has anyone been to this school, and if so, how did you like it? Do you think I'll be able to land a good job as an RN if I were to apply and attend? I'm nervous, since it is a new program! Such as, what if they end up closing and the degree won't be valid ?
Thank you! I’ve already got accepted to an ADN private school starting in January but would like to pay for the same amount for a BSN instead. Fingers cross!
@619nurse I thought you started classes in May? And start your nurse classes in January? Did you end up changing your mind and attend somewhere else now?
I just got accepted. They mailed it to me in paper. I’m surprised it wasn’t an email. and yes I’m curious why you gave up your seat? I’m a bit nervous since this is their first fall ABSN cohort!
For various reason I didn’t feel the school was a great match for me. Price being one of them and the fact that I am already a Licensed Vocational Nurse and I can definitely go a cheaper route. I am happy with my decision. I am glad the seat went to someone else who might find the program a match for them.
