BP Cuffs - standard or electronic

I will have the opportunity this year to purchase some new equipment.  I am still using the BP cuffs that were there when I took my job 10 years ago and they are not in good shape.  Wondering if anyone has switched to electronic cuffs, or better to still rely on standard sphygmomanometer and a good quality stethoscope? I am thinking to stick with my ears . . . but just checking to see if the standard has changed.  I just feel like if the electronic one is off . . . I won't know.

I'm an old school kinda girl! I like the cuff and sphygmomanometer!

I have both. If I’m not busy I just use a manual one. If I’m busy I’ll have them do the electronic one but if it’s too high I’ll recheck with a manual. Most of the time my electronic is pretty close.

I almost always do a manual on the littles - they're just so wiggly and the electronic cuffs are not great with wiggles. The bigger kids who can follow clear instructions I'll often use the electronic cuff so I can keep talking to them while I am doing it.

I prefer the old school way with a cuff and stethoscope. I feel they are more accurate, and they don't have to be calibrated all the time.

I'm super old school school and nothing beats a manual for me.
