help! first year nursing student and there is one guy in my nursing class. hes cool and all and he asked me out. well, the problem is i see him almost everyday. if something were to happen/not happen it could potentially be very awkward. im going to school for myself, not to meet guys. what the hell do i do?

couldn't you just sleep together and have a casual thing minus the relationship drama and commitments? problem solved.
While women seem to have this hang up about bumping into people you have sleept with, I haven't observed the same phenomenon as much in men (especially gay men). Haven't you heard of friends with benefits?
"couldn't you just sleep together and have a casual thing minus the relationship drama and commitments? problem solved."Great stress reliever...but they'd still have to see each other all the time.
Of course I have but coming from a woman's point of view, "friends with benefits" is rarely just that. Someone gets attached, jealousy ensues, blahblahblah.[/quote']Exactly - not everyone can do that, and nursing school really isn't a good time to find that out if you're going to find out with a fellow student.

Another from the male perspective - were I him, I definitely would not want to start something the first year. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much potential for drama. If you're both interested, tell him "Thank you - ask me again when we have a semester left." At least if things go South, you'll both either be graduated at that point or nearly so.
