Starting a thread for Boston College Direct Entry MSN applicants for Summer 2019. Looks like we are the last class before BC goes to a DNP direct entry program!
I'm applying for the Psych/MH track, based on work/life experiences in the mental health realm. My cousin went through the BC program a few years ago, loved it, and has a job she really enjoys.

Is the cohort of ~40 evenly distributed among specialties? I didn't get the opportunity to attend an information session as I am from the west coast, and am wondering if this is something that they ever mentioned. Thanks!
I am also wondering about the cohort size (and the acceptance rate/# of apps received), if anyone has the info it'd be much appreciated ?

Past groups were around 40 students. I believe they receive around 300 applications for those spots. BC used to put out a class profile for the admitted students or cohorts, but they stopped recently.

Hi! I also took 2 of the prerequisites in the fall, and sent my updated transcript in late December. I didn't call to confirm that they received them, but I did upload an unofficial copy of the transcript to my application page just in case. Like you though, my application checklist never changed to reflect the additional transcript. I wouldn't worry too much about it - if they confirmed that they received it then I'm sure they documented it somewhere!
