Boston College Direct Entry MSN 2019

Starting a thread for Boston College Direct Entry MSN applicants for Summer 2019. Looks like we are the last class before BC goes to a DNP direct entry program!

I'm applying for the Psych/MH track, based on work/life experiences in the mental health realm. My cousin went through the BC program a few years ago, loved it, and has a job she really enjoys.

Does anyone know if they will be conducting interviews this year or just sending out decisions in Feb? Thanks! I'm applying PMHNP.

Hello Everyone! I am so glad to have found this thread. I applied to the WHNP program, fingers crossed!

I never wound up getting to an info session due to my class schedule this past summer/ fall. I have done some snooping around on here to find out a little bit more what the structure is like- but does anyone who attended an info session have any more details on how many days/ week classes are, clinicals, etc? I know we start over the summer at some point, though from earlier in this thread it seems like the dates are not set in stone yet. If anyone has any more details about these sorts of things I would totally love to hear it! Wishing everyone the best of luck!

I called and they said they will release decisions at the end of the month or early February. Last year accepted students day was February 11th.

I looked at last year’s thread and they released decisions January 24th so I’m hoping they’re able to let us know this month again!

Yep, radio silence since November.

I'd love to hear something by late January. One year the decisions were delayed to early February because of a string of major snowstorms...
