Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC) Spring 2024

Haven't seen a new post yet for the next application cycle so thought I'll start one!

I submitted my checklist a month ago and still haven't heard back. Wondering if anyone has heard back yet with instructions on how to register for the HESI.

Hey! I did take the HESI, you should be able to see your results on evolve as well as the class averages. I'm applying for the evening program and hopefully we get to hear back soon!

I'm applying for the day time program, I wrote on Monday, when did you?

I took it on Wednesday. She said we should hear back by the last week of December.

If you guys have like a 3.70-4.0 and a 90ish HESI, you should be fine. The advisor takes awhile and you might not find out till late December or early January.

BMCC Nursing is a damn scam

Why is it taking so damn long to calculate the HESI scores? Orientation is 5 days away and we don't even know if we're in or not. As of 15 minutes ago, she says she's still calculating scores. It's a frigging rip off. Other colleges I applied to are starting on Monday, I've been waiting on these damn scores to make a decision but it looks like I'll just go ahead and forget about BMCC. They don't got no damn consideration for nobody.

It's completely ridiculous that they won't even attempt to update us when many of us have other commitments. They said that because of the lpn program that it is taking longer. No word on if the orientation is still on Wednesday (highly doubt it) but it makes me really concerned about the programs organization as a whole. As of right now I'm assuming that we won't hear back until next at least another week or two.

The department isn't even answering their phones for days. My friend called an associate dean's office and they got through to the lady after FOUR(4) hours. BMCC opens on the 24th or 25th I think so I don't know whats going to happen. This is just bull and I feel so stuck.
