Haven't seen a new post yet for the next application cycle so thought I'll start one!
I submitted my checklist a month ago and still haven't heard back. Wondering if anyone has heard back yet with instructions on how to register for the HESI.

Yep, I've been adviced by one of the 4th semester student, they said get your BLS done, and gave me a list of things I'd have to get and the link to the uniforms and everything. Also told me to get your physical assessment out of the way too because they will take a long time.
I didn't think it would've taken this long though.

So I've found out that the LPN program students have been notified since last Friday and they had their orientation today. Sometime next week we will be notified.

Thank you for letting me know, this is the most information I think anyone's been able to get! So strange then because it means they've been saying that it's because of the LPN that it's taking so much time. Whole time they were already done!

EXACTLY, it's so suspicious, even the dean's office isn't getting any info from them about it.
The BLS just has to be from American heart association. It's around $75-90. I did mine at frontline health. The uniforms take about 2-4 weeks to process so I'd probably order them early. The run larger than usual. You don't need it till Late February, but you are required to wear it every lab day. You should get a pen light/stethoscope. Doesn't have to be fancy. Just get a 3M Littman if you want something "better". They are super annoying about white shoes first semester. 2nd-4th semester they didn't even notice if we came in with black sneakers. The student badge isn't really needed until 2nd semester. You don't need trauma shears. You should get a watch with a dial. ~$10-25 on amazon. They don't let you use apple/electronic watches for the practicum. The most annoying thing tbh is getting all your physical forms. You need to have the immunization ones and upload them on castle branch. Also get a quanitiferon gold to get cleared for tb. You have February to finish this so don't panic.

Honestly I don't think I want to go there anymore. Have you seen the reddit subs in CUNY? Someone got a 4.0 GPA with 96 on the HESI and did not get in, while someone with the same HESI score had a 3.8 GPA and got in. They both applied for the day program.

That's so strange. I wonder what their critical thinking scores were? Maybe that was part of scoring their PCI?
