Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC) Spring 2021

Hi , Creating this thread for anyone applying for Spring 2021 at BMCC . I didn’t get in last round so will plan to sit the HESI in December hopefully . Not sure what my PCI is but I got A’s in everything except AP1 which I got a B in . Please share tips or info so we can help each other . I’m in my 40’s and I’ve young kids so this is definitely a career change for me !

I applied for day  considering it was easy im kind of nervous the score is subpar in my standards. Im nervous

Considering that vaccine is almost here they might do in person. Then again. Hoping not alot apply cause of the online thing. Nyahhahhaa

I am gonna assume cut off is somewhere between 85-87. 

 

Considering the HESI was pretty easy

So possibly only online for Spring '21, maybe Summer at latest because many out there will be scared to take the vaccine initially.

True, I think her selection is gonna be tight. Everyone scored great in the HESI. The closer you are to 90. The better the chances.

The big picture though is 50% HESI and 50% pci/GPA.

I took my HESI on Monday and scored 95.

math 100%


A&P 100%


reading comp 86%


critical thinking 850 

My PCI is 3.89.

I am so anxious I hope she lets us know something by the 21st. So far it sounds like everyone has done well. Best of luck to everyone!

You shouldnt be anxious. Your on the top.

I applied for the day...I would have preferred the evening but I figured I had a better chance going for the day since there are 2 section instead of one like the evening.
