does your school offer review courses or are going for self-review?

DOH Book, Fundamentals of Nursing by Mrs.Udan, NCLEX review book for Med Surg (for added interventions) + your school notes. Answer questions and read Rationales.

Try community book and Gapuz materials. It really helped me a lot during those days...

the lecturers of my school's in-house review suggest that we read NCLEX reviewer books like Saunder's, Mosby's and Lippincot - especially the compilation of NCLEX questions - since the new BON is giving NCLEX-based questions now, unlike the past BON, who were used to giving "subjective" type of questions. for CHN, read Maglaya, scan DOH and IMCI. good luck!

Besides from the books, always remember what you did during your clinical exposures...I heard that the last Dec. NLE was almost based on the actual practice and not all theories.

hi.. is it true that Mrs. Udan, the author of a funda book in nursing is now a member of the board of nursing?
Haven't heard about this. She was even our lecturer in our exclusive NCLEX RN review class.

i used only 2 books: DOH and carl balita's reviewer thingie (a big help for me, really - easy to read and recall). and i had a compilation of test questions. i used the review center's lecture notes for the rest. took the board once and thankfully passed. dont stop testing yourself regularly. it trains the way your mind answers different questions.

Based from what I know, Mrs. Josie Udan is now running a NCLEX-RN Review Center called SmartLink near P. Campa Street along with 2 other male nurses..
I suggest you try reading the DOH Book, IMCI, Udan's Fundamentals and MS, Sia's Q&A books, Saunders Compre book for the MS part..
At this point of time, dont use Balita's and Gapuz's reviewers bcoz I believe you will waste a lot of time reading those (nothing personal)..
