Hello...I am currently trying to get into the Wayne Fingerlakes Boces. I went and took the test passed but didnt get as high as I wanted. They work on a first come first serve basis so haopefully being that I took it early enought I can still get accepted after the interview process. What is a decent score to get on the exam to ensure acceptance....they wanted a 60 on reading and 50 on math.

Ms. L is the best, no doubt about that. I have about four weeks left of med/surg and it's going well. I can't believe how many people cheat, but what goes around comes around. The best advice I could give (and I'm sure you would agree) is you must commit yourself 100%. There is no such thing as free time!! Did you take the NCLEX yet?

Hi Everyone...
Yesterday was supposed to be my interview and they rescheduled me for April...BOO. I'm so nervous.
Just a general question....Are you doing fulltime days or part time nights and WHY???....im having a hard time making this decision for myself????

Don't worry - I am sure there is some explanation - Maybe the person who was to interview you took sick – I noticed that the teachers take the interviews once class is over (or they did the day I was there) so I am sure it was just a last minute thing that came up and not a reflection on you.
I know how frustrating the waiting is though! What date in April are you on for now?
So hang in there.
I am planning on doing full time days as I wish to get done in the shortest time possible. I don’t want to have to work (much) during the program and will just squeak by in 11 mos on my savings (I hope!) – what program are you thinking of doing?
Talk to you soon

Anyone going to Orange Ulster BOCES?
I'm currently enrolled in full-time day. It's very intense, but in 11 months you are done.

I took NCLEX in november and I passed on my first try.
The cheating was absurd. They tried to get me in on it too. I know their strategy. I'm like "yeah sure ok" and for the every test I moved far far away from them.
They have kicked a few people out for cheating too.

Congratulations, are you working as an LPN? As for the cheaters, they will never pass the NCLEX.
CB, who do the recs have to be from? jus' wondering....
Sorry it took so long to get back to you, but with rotations and med/surg class there is just no time. The rec's have to be professional (work/school related). Any other questions I promise to answer much quicker.
to cb70, are you happy with the instructors and how they cover the material?
very happy, I have had and have wonderful instructors who really want to see their students do well.
