Hi there! I just completed AP I and plan to submit my checklist soon in the hopes of taking HESI 2 this December. I currently have a 3.83 GPA for my PCI’s (I have A’s in everything but AP I for which I received a B+). I hope to do well on the HESI and be accepted to the Nursing program for the Spring of 2023 day program. I wanted to touch base with other people here who plan on doing the same so we can exchange tips and even work together if some of us get accepted to the same program. I look forward to speaking with everyone!

I think I was next to you! I was wondering the same question and checked my evolve account but only my own score report is available.

Congrats! You guys are in. I'm 110% sure for anyone with a 90% and 4.0. Do not stress over Winter break worrying. The advisor probably won't even bother till January to send acceptances. Spend time reading the material once you get it instead. The whole course is almost self taught so don't be too upset if you don't get the better professor. It makes almost no difference between day/afternoon section.

your scores will be there.
I only see my score when I go there. On older BMCC Nursing threads they mentioned that you can also view the average scores of the rest of your class somewhere on Elsevier and that it fluctuates everyday as more people take the HESI. Do you know if that’s true and where we can locate that?

What about an 3.83? ? That’s why I’m not trying to get too excited as it all depends on if there is any room left after the high scoring 4.0s lock up the spot.

You're more than good. PCA score= (3.83x12.5)+ (HESI/2). Most people with over a 90 pca got in last semester. I think yours is like a 93-94. You see where your score is. Click the + arrow on the left and look at the subsections. I think average score is there that fluctuates.

Thanks! I found the averages. And I hope you’re right, I’m eager to start this journey.
Hi everyone! Just found this thread...I'm applying for the Spring evening/weekend program, and according to the above equation, my PCA is 94.71 = I got a 96.67 on the HESI and annoyingly have only a 3.71 from pre-reqs because I took a class through Portage and would've gotten an A but they "caught me cheating" on an exam (definitely was not, they just saw what they thought was my phone on the table even though it was just my case that had my ID in it since you have to show it prior to the exam) so I got a B-.
I'm a career-switcher (have been working in education and now recruiting for the last 12 years since college), so I'm MORE than ready to get going on this, and I'm just crossing all of my fingers I get in!!
Anyone else going for evening??

Hey Sarah! Welcome! I’m going for the day program, but will be switching to the night program once I complete microbio. I got a 93.33% on the HESI with a 3.83 GPA.

Just a note, it is extremely hard to move from morning and evening, I know one student who needed 2 letters from 2 jobs and was luckily moved because one person from the evening wanted to go to the morning. you will also need approval from the chair and the deputy chair. It is very rare to be moved, so do consider that when you apply. the only easy part to move is the morning section having afternoon and morning. Section choosing are lottery base but you can coordinate with your cohort to move only for the morning. the evening class sticks together till the very end.
